Florida Teen Accused of Setting Friend Afire has $250,000 Bail

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Jesus Mendez, one of three teens charged with attempted second-degree murder, faces a hefty $250,000 bond. As of last Friday, a Broward County judge ruled that Mendez could await trial at home with his mother. Circuit Judge Dale Cohen, who originally set the bond for Mendez, also ordered that Mendez wear an electronic monitor and not leave his home “for any reason whatsoever.” ..source bnd.com
